MEET THE TEAM
Trained as a development economist, Eric Britton is a sustainability activist, Distinguished Professor of Sustainable Development at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris, and managing director of EcoPlan International, an independent advisory network providing strategic counsel for government and business on policy and decision issues involving complex systems, social-technical change and sustainable development.
His latest work focuses on the subject of equity, economy and efficiency in city transport and public space, and helping governments to ask the right questions and find practical solutions to urging climate, mobility, life quality and job creation issues.
Eric will be the founding chair for Giant Carrots, guiding the formative period for the company.
Paul started his newspaper career at the Sunday Sport in the early 1990s, rising to News Editor. He went on to work as a features journalist at the News of the World between 1994 and 2001, becoming deputy features editor. He left to become features editor of the Daily Express before establishing Channel News Services with his brother Rory.
He is one of the most high profile journalists in the UK and works at Giant Carrots as the PR Director.
With contacts throughout the media, he has managed PR contracts for organisations as different as Brompton Bike Hire and the British Territorial Army. He is also an excellent photographer.
Rory has worked in the sustainable transport and bicycle industry for 20 years.
He specialises in marketing and event management.
He has managed events ranging from training courses on cycle planning, through to public facing events attracting over 20,000 people.
He has worked in many countries around the world, and learned Chinese while based in mainland China and Taiwan.
He believes that the advent of the smartphone providing real time information on transport and maturity of shared transport modes, are leading to a revolution in urban transport. He set up Giant Carrots to support this trend.
Eleni is an experienced Operations and Logistics professional with a proven track of excellent event planning, team management, resource scheduling and budget management controls.
She has worked on international events for the Merlien Institute, Landor LINKS, Global Financial Conferences and Futurum-Media.
She has a Post-graduate diploma in Event Management for Marketing and Communications from the Ashdown Academy in London and a degree in International Studies from the University of Michigan.
She is bi-lingual in Greek and English
